"Write To Rise"



Are you interested in learning a new and exciting skill and gaining hands-on experience in the podcasting industry? We have exciting news for you.

The “Write to Rise” organization is returning with its 9th annual teen podcasting workshop series. This fantastic event will give attendees practical experience and knowledge about starting a podcast.

The “Write to Rise” teen podcasting workshop series is open to high school students in Atlanta’s Fulton County. It is presented by Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr., Better Outcomes for Our Kids Inc., and Friends of Wolfcreek Inc.

During these four weeks of the “Write to Rise” intensive teen podcasting workshop, teens who attend and are eager to amplify their voices through hands-on experience in creating a professional-quality podcast should participate in and attend all four sessions.

This free “Write to Rise” teen podcasting workshop series begins on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and runs until Saturday, October 25, 2025. The event will be held at the South Fulton Arthouse from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M.

Participants will gain valuable skills and knowledge in areas including:

- Podcasting Fundamentals

- Audio Storytelling Techniques

- Recording and Editing Skills

- Creating and Publishing an Episode

- Promotion and Audience Growth

High school students interested in attending should bring the following items and have related skills for this great opportunity:

- Laptop or phone

- Ability to edit video assignments
