"Turkey Classic"



Join us on Sunday, November 23, 2025, for Atlanta’s 13th annual Turkey Classic at Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

This meaningful act of community service will start at 2:30 p.m. and continue until 5 p.m. The college is located at 1630 Pkwy SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.

We’re proud to share that Atlanta’s Turkey Classic is a cherished community event dedicated to supporting families facing greater challenges during the Thanksgiving season. It highlights impactful partnerships with residents, community leaders, and sponsors.

You won’t want to miss this year’s 13th annual Atlanta Turkey Classic, which promises exciting activities including a thrilling basketball game between the Georgia Spartans and Positive American Youth, and a halftime Battle of the Dance show.

Attendees can enjoy a live and remote broadcast by Streetz 94.5 and Reec Radio, creating an energetic and engaging environment. The goal of the Atlanta Turkey Classic is to support individuals and families in need through food distribution and strengthening community bonds.

As Metro Atlanta and Georgia communities come together on Sunday, November 23, 2025, for this wonderful day of service—the annual Atlanta Turkey Classic—we recognize the vital importance of giving back. Research shows that in Metro Atlanta and Georgia, approximately 1 in 7.5 individuals and families, totaling around 755,400 people, rely on food pantries and meal programs each year. Reec Swiney of Positive American Youth emphasizes the significance of this event:

“We are proud to partner with the commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. to make this event possible. Together, we can help make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and support families in need during this critical time.”
