“People Powered Media Festival”

If you’re in the media industry or looking to enter it, we’re excited to announce that PhillyCam, located in Philadelphia, PA, will be hosting its 2025 People Powered Media Festival.

Join us on Saturday, October 25, from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. for an incredible day filled with engaging panel discussions, networking opportunities, workshops, and screenings.

The festival will take place at PhillyCam, located at 699 Ranstead St, Philadelphia. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

The People Powered Media Festival aims to unite media makers, activists, and community leaders whose voices inspire and drive change within their communities. This year’s theme focuses on raising awareness about the evolving landscape of media and how the Philadelphia community can preserve its unique voices and stories in an era of rising AI influence.

Discussions at the festival will explore strategies for sustainable media production, building engaged audiences, and advocating for media equity.

The People Powered Media Festival is for:

- Independent filmmakers, podcasters, and radio producers

- Community media practitioners and public access advocates

- Activists and organizers using media for advocacy

- Journalists and digital content creators

- Educators and students interested in media literacy

- Anyone passionate about the power of storytelling to drive change

Tickets for the People Powered Media Festival are now available for purchase. Early bird tickets for PhillyCam members are $10.00, and early bird non-member tickets are $25.00. To secure the member price, you must log in to your membership account.
