The Philadelphia Museum of Art is preparing to host its 49th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show. This year’s stunning exhibition will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The Pennsylvania Convention Center is located at 1101 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, in the Chinatown neighborhood. The show will run from Friday, November 7, 2025, to Sunday, November 9, 2025.

The 49th annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show will feature a variety of visual media for display and purchase. The event will showcase work from 195 hand-made artists.

Highlights include one-of-a-kind jewelry, ceramics, textiles, and sculptures. We’re excited to announce that the craft show will kick off on Thursday, November 6, 2025, with a Preview Party Gala.

The Preview Party Gala runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can be the first to meet the artists and buy their unique creations.

Attendees at the Preview Party can enjoy a cocktail buffet and access to all three events. On Friday, November 7, 2025, starting at 1 p.m., the craft show will feature an “Interactive Scarf Tying Presentation— ‘Fit to be Tied’,” where guests can learn various ways to style scarves and shawls with flair.

Join us for the “Fashion Event— ‘Find Your Style’” on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 1 p.m. This exciting event will display one-of-a-kind looks from a talented group of artists.

The show will also highlight wearable art, including jewelry, leather pieces, and more.

We invite you to explore a range of unique handmade items that blend fashion and art, providing a front-row seat to creativity in action. Please visit the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., for your last chance to enjoy the show.

Visitors on Sunday will still have the opportunity to purchase their special, one-of-a-kind artwork, view amazing handmade creations, and meet the artists behind the pieces.

This event features some of the most talented emerging artists, each creating unique works inspired by diverse backgrounds and techniques. Notable artists include Amos Amit and Michele Friedman.

Amos Amit presents a collection inspired by Batik and Indonesian techniques. Their works feature colorful, intricate patterns created with hot wax on cotton fabric.

Michele Friedman, a jewelry artist, will showcase her one-of-a-kind wool brooches and a vibrant collection of jewelry.

With so many unique pieces on display, we’re thrilled to share that Craft in America will premiere its "Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026."

This exhibit will explore the significance of handcrafted crafts throughout American history and contemporary art.

Organized by an all-volunteer women’s committee, the craft show is the first retail event of its kind, raising awareness for the nonprofit organization. Since its founding in 1977, it has inspired similar successful events in Washington, D.C., and Glencoe, Illinois.

The Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, established in 1883, is the oldest women’s group supporting a cultural institution in the nation.

Together with the Craft Show Committee, they feature an annual exhibition showcasing the nation’s 195 top craft artists. These artists undergo a rigorous and competitive jury process.

Over its 48-year history, the event has become a leading platform for craft education, offering symposiums, artist demonstrations, tours, exhibitions, and international guest programs.
