If you're like us and are ready to welcome the New Year but aren't sure how or where to celebrate, we invite you to ring in the New Year at Marsha’s South Street on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Marsha’s South Street is a woman-owned sports bar located at 430 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147, in the Queen Village section of the city. It was founded by Chivonn Anderson, a renowned queer Philly native.

Growing up, Chivonn Anderson found South Street to be a place where she could come into her own. She saw South Street as a space of safety, self—expression, and identity.

For Chivonn, South Street was more than a neighborhood — it was a place she called home. Marsha’s South Street is Philadelphia‘s first-ever women-owned sports bar and venue.

Chivonn Anderson named Marsha’s South Street in honor of the legendary LGBTQ+ activist Marsha P. Johnson. The venue is more than just a bar.

Marsha’s South Street in Philadelphia is an energetic, inclusive space that features a unique mix of women's sports, local Philly teams, queer film and television, along with an elevated menu of food and drinks.

The goal of Marsha’s South Street is to be a warm, welcoming, and inviting place where everyone feels seen. Chivonn Anderson wants every guest to experience the same joy and sense of community that she has felt growing up on this very stretch of South Street.

On New Year’s, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, Marsha’s South Street will open its doors for a festive New Year’s Eve celebration like no other. Attendees will enjoy a comprehensive experience with an open bar, passed appetizers, mini desserts, a champagne toast at midnight, complimentary coat check, and a small gift.

We’re excited to announce that entertainment will include drag performances by Eugene Rideher Betta and Lasha Cristal, go-go dancing by Felix and Little Miss Sunshine, and music by DJ Destroyuh to keep the party going until midnight.

A limited number of early bird tickets are available for $85. After that, general admission tickets will be sold for $100 while supplies last.
